An award-winning, independently owned hearing care practice serving West Texas for over 19 years is seeking a full-time Audiologist to join their team. They are also open to experienced Hearing Instrument Specialists who share their patient-first philosophy.

This role provides diagnostic audiology services for primarily adult patients, including hearing evaluations, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid fittings, hearing aid programming, Real Ear Measurements (REM), patient counseling, treatment planning, and follow-up care. The position also offers opportunities to expand clinical skills in Cochlear Implant evaluations and Tinnitus Management.

The ideal candidate enjoys building long-term patient relationships, delivering exceptional patient care, and collaborating with a supportive clinical team. The schedule promotes both patient access and work-life balance, including early Fridays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic hearing evaluations for adult patients, including audiometric testing, tympanometry, DPOAEs, otoscopy, and cerumen management.
  • Interpret test results and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct hearing aid evaluations, provide hearing aid fittings, programming, verification, troubleshooting, and follow-up care.
  • Perform Cochlear Implant evaluations, patient counseling, and follow-up care (training available).
  • Perform tinnitus evaluations and provide Tinnitus Management, including patient counseling and treatment recommendations (training available).
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including VA and Texas Workforce Commission reports.

Requirements
  • Au.D. or Master’s degree in Audiology OR licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) in Texas (or ability to obtain)
  • Texas Audiology license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a full patient schedule with attention to detail
  • A patient-first mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
