American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital position at a Level II Trauma Center, with Epic EMR experience required and weekend rotation availability.
Details- Short‑term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds at a Level II Trauma Center
- Day shift, 5x8‑hour shifts (8:00–16:00)
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Weekend rotation shared with full‑time therapy staff
- No on‑call or floating between units required
- 13‑week contract
- Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active PT license required if applicable
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- First‑time travelers are eligible to apply
- Travelers may be expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Local candidates are approved for this position
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this role
- Dress code for licensed personnel requires solid navy blue scrubs or uniforms; print tops are not acceptable
