Since 1989, TTUHSC Managed Care has served as a healthcare delivery service, providing high-quality, low cost healthcare to patients within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice system.

We provide medical, mental health, and dental services to patients in 22 facilities throughout West Texas. Managed Care emphasizes our values-based culture in all we do. The John Montford Unit in Lubbock, TX is an accredited regional medical and mental health facility, within the TTUHSC Managed Care system which specializes in providing access to a comprehensive array of medical, psychiatric, and ancillary healthcare services.

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.

This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of operations in a correctional facility medical clinic. Employees serve as primary contacts for patients and are responsible for preparing necessary paperwork before patient visits, receiving patients, and maintaining records.
