Physical Therapist
This position requires a licensed physical therapist. The therapist will work in an acute care setting with diverse patient populations. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. Weekends are required on a rotation basis with full-time therapy staff. Floating between units is not required. The dress code is solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire for licensed personnel. Print tops are not acceptable attire for licensed staff.
The facility is a short-term acute care facility with a total of 379 staffed beds. Daily patient care involves working with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The responsibilities include patient assessment, discharge planning, and rehabilitation interventions. The therapist should possess skills in various areas, including orthopedics and neurology. Experience with post-operative rehabilitation and cognitive disorders is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required. License:
Valid state license required.
Certifications:
BLS certification required.
