Radiation Therapist - Radiology Oncology at JACC Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX

Please note that this position is onsite and therefore requires the ability to commute to the Joe Arrington Cancer Research and Treatment Center (JACC) in Lubbock, TX.

Coordinates, prepares and administers radiation therapy treatments and simulation procedures to infants, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist; patient population is majority adults. Applies appropriate radiation safety, practices, performs quality assurance procedures, and clear and concise documentation. Assumes complete responsibility and accountability with little supervision required. Collaborates with others and seeks direction from supervisor or others as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License upon hire
    -OR-
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
  • 1 year of experience in a fast-paced Radiation Oncology department

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
