We are seeking a motivated and professional Clinical Specialist to support operating room procedures and provide clinical expertise across multiple territories. This role is ideal for candidates with either a clinical healthcare background or business-to-business (B2B) sales experience who are looking to build a long-term career in the medical device and healthcare industry.
The Clinical Specialist works closely with surgeons, hospital staff, and sales representatives to ensure excellent procedural support, product knowledge, and customer experience in the operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-person clinical support during surgical procedures and operating room cases
- Assist physicians and OR staff with product preparation, troubleshooting, and best practices
- Educate healthcare professionals on product usage, features, and clinical applications
- Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, and hospital personnel
- Support multiple territories as needed, including occasional overnight travel
- Coordinate case coverage schedules and ensure timely communication with internal teams
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in fast-paced clinical environments
- Participate in training programs and ongoing product education
- Assist with inventory management, product logistics, and case readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
- Background in healthcare, clinical support, athletics, or B2B sales strongly preferred
- Experience in the operating room, patient care, medical device, or customer-facing sales is a plus
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to learn technical and clinical information quickly
- Comfortable working in surgical and hospital environments
- Willingness to travel throughout assigned territories, including occasional overnight travel
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
