Major/Essential Functions- Manages a sub unit within a department.
- Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures.
- Represents the sub unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters.
- Supervises direct reports.
- Supports occupational health needs for employees, faculty, residents, students, and volunteers.
- Coordinates and administers annual clinical competency assessments for nursing and clinical support staff.
- Monitors and maintain nursing and medical assistant licensure and certification compliance.
- Ensures adherence to institutional, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
- Reduces organizational risk associated with expired credentials, incomplete competencies, and employee health compliance deficiencies.
- Enhances workforce onboarding, retention, employee well-being, and patient safety initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of basic nursing principles, clinical practice standards, and employee health processes.
- Ability to interpret and apply organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and compliance-related activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic health record systems.
- Knowledge of licensure, certification, and credential tracking processes preferred.
