Certified Patient Care Tech
- Pediatrics

This posting is for multiple openings of Certified Patient Care Tech
- Pediatrics at Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, TX. We are hiring for Temporary and On-Call or Per Diem opportunities.

The Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level or current graduate of a state-approved PCT program (CPCT)
  • National Provider BLS
    - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Certified Patient Care Technician
    - National Association for Health Professionals upon hire
    -OR-
  • National Certified Patient Care Technician
    - National Center for Competency Testing upon hire
    -OR-
  • National Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant
    - National Health career Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months of PCT experience in an acute care setting
  • 6 months of phlebotomy experience
