We have a Part-Time opening for an EVS & FNS Specialist/Housekeeper in a state-of-the-art hospital in the Lubbock area.

This position, under general supervision, works in assigned areas and performs various hospital environmental and food services duties, including but not limited to:

• Cleaning all hospital areas as assigned, performing general cleaning duties, cleaning isolation rooms, performing terminal cleaning procedures
• Operating environmental service equipment, including an auto scrubber and burnisher
• Responsible for the transportation and storage of biohazardous waste, sharps, and soiled linen
• This position obtains menus from assigned patients, assists patients with menu selections as needed, ensures that the menu coincides with the current diet order
• Prepares food for the patient tray utilizing the appropriate equipment such as the Turbo Chef, microwave oven
• Assist in other duties as needed throughout the facility

The qualified candidate should be organized, a self-starter, detail oriented, punctual and have good people skills. The qualified candidate should demonstrate a positive, encouraging and teamwork attitude. The qualified candidate must maintain a professional appearance.
