HR Business Partner
The HR Business Partner acts as a strategic liaison between HR, area leadership and area management. Serves as a subject matter expert to provide guidance and assistance within the employee relations function, including performance management, conflict resolution, investigations and corrective action. Provides support in talent acquisition and retention strategies. Works with managers and employees to ensure compliance with bank policy and applicable laws.
Provides recommendations and guidance to area management in establishing human resource objectives and policies.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, Human Resources Certification; or equivalent management and associate relations experience and/or related education.
Required Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge of human resource laws and regulations. Comprehensive knowledge of the HR functions including payroll, compensation, benefits, recruiting, employee relations and investigations.
Experience
Required:
5+ years of progressive experience in human resources including employee relations, conflict resolution and problem solving.
Skills/Abilities:
Strong analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communications abilities. Strong leadership skills. Solid interpersonal and supervisory abilities. Effective project management skills. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.

Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

Mental Activities and Requirements of This Position
- Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables. - Mathematics Ability:
Ability to perform basic math skills, use decimals to compute ratios and percents. - Language Ability:
Ability to read a variety of books, magazines, and instruction manuals. Ability to prepare memos, reports, and essays using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar. - Ability to communicate distinctly with appropriate pauses and emphasis, correct pronunciation (or sign equivalent), and variation in word order using present, perfect, and future tenses.

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. 40 hours per week
