Job Summary

Troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing studio and editing equipment, and installing and maintaining computer equipment. This is a Monday‑Friday position, but occasional weekend and night shifts will be necessary. We do rotate on call weekly. Tanium experience is a plus. All engineering staff are on call 24/7 in case of an emergency.

• Have good people skills to work with other departments and personnel, and ability to fix any issue on the fly.
• Have expert knowledge regarding equipment, IT technology, systems, and be able to step in and assist in emergencies.
• Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications within the station. Knowledge of VMware is a plus.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and communicate with departments regarding those regulations.
• Assist in the implementation of capital projects.
• Integration, maintenance, and operation of new and current equipment, including towers, transmitters, microwave, satellite, IT, and tenant installations.
• Must be able to install and remove rack equipment weighing 25–50 pounds with the help of another employee.
• Have working knowledge of the latest operating systems software, including automation, server, and desktop operating systems. Linux is a plus.

• Must have knowledge of the engineering aspects of the technical facility, including studio support, post‑editing systems, field production support, and transmission of live / Vmix / OBS events and programs.
• A degree in IT/Broadcast engineering or a related field/experience is preferred.
