About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Data Governance Architect to define and implement enterprise-wide data governance frameworks that ensure data is trusted, secure, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, driving the establishment of data standards, policies, and architectural best practices. You will play a key role in embedding governance into data platforms and delivery initiatives while partnering with business stakeholders, data stewards, and engineering teams to elevate data quality, interoperability, and regulatory compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable enterprise data governance frameworks
, operating models, and workflows - Establish and enforce data standards, policies, and architectural patterns
- Collaborate across business and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable governance solutions
- Drive data quality, lineage, and compliance initiatives across the organization
- Align cross-functional stakeholders toward a unified data governance strategy
- Facilitate governance workshops and working sessions to drive adoption and alignment
- Identify gaps in current processes and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Support integration of governance practices into data platforms and product delivery life cycles
- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Governance, or Enterprise Data Management
- Proven track record of designing and operationalizing governance frameworks at scale
- Strong expertise in business analysis, architecture, and technical solution design
- Ability to bridge business and technology, translating complex requirements into structured frameworks
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment across teams
- Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to handle ambiguity and convert unclear expectations into structured solutions
- Strong understanding of Retail Apparel industry , especially customer journey
- Knowledge of product development lifecycle and retail supply chain (preferred)
- Experience with tools like Atlan or Alation
- Familiarity with Google Cloud
- Knowledge of data modeling, wire framing, and workflow development
- Experience in change management initiatives
- A strategic thinker who can influence and drive enterprise-wide adoption of governance practices
- A collaborative leader who can bring together diverse stakeholders under a unified vision
- A hands‑on architect who can balance strategy with execution
