Senior Procurement Specialist

I'm currently supporting a well-established industrial organisation in the search for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join a regional procurement team supporting multiple operational sites.

This role offers broad exposure across strategic sourcing, stakeholder management, supplier negotiations and procurement operations, with responsibility for delivering commercial value across a diverse portfolio of direct and indirect spend.

• Leading sourcing and tendering activities across a range of goods and services categories
• Managing supplier negotiations and commercial agreements to drive value and reduce total cost of ownership
• Identifying and delivering cost saving initiatives across multiple operational locations
• Supporting procurement strategies through market analysis, benchmarking and supplier engagement
• Working closely with operational and business stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives
• Managing procurement projects from opportunity identification through to implementation
• Tracking savings, supplier performance and procurement outcomes
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain activities

• 5+ years of procurement, sourcing or category management experience
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities
• Experience operating in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, energy or related environment
• Comfortable working with operational stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous
