The US PREP Senior Director of Administration & Strategic Initiatives will serve as a key strategic advisor and right‑hand to the Executive Director, with accountability for planning, directing, and evaluating all operational and strategic functions. This role has significant influence over organizational outcomes, people management, and resource allocation, and plays a critical role in translating institutional priorities into operational plans, policies, and measurable results.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning and Execution- Collaborate with the Executive Director and senior leadership to develop, implement, and monitor strategic and operational plans, ensuring efficiencies with scale.
- Ensure alignment of organizational goals with the mission and vision. Monitor progress of key initiatives and projects, providing regular updates to the executive team.
- Translate organizational initiatives into objectives, policies, and plans for the area of responsibility.
- Stay up-to-date with policy decisions in the respective states where US PREP is operating, and support the team by disseminating updates and changes
- Plan and direct all aspects of operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives and facilitate communication between US PREP teams and all the streams of technical assistance services.
- Review the effectiveness of our technical assistance strategies or systems and creatively determine solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Director, providing insights and recommendations on key issues.
- Prepare materials, reports, and presentations for leadership retreats.
- Provide budget oversight and financial planning
- Identify risks, resolve operational issues, and consult with Executive Director on financial and strategic trade‑offs.
