Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bank Center Manager to lead the overall performance, operations, and customer experience of our branch. This leadership role is ideal for a results-oriented professional who excels at building strong customer relationships, developing high-performing teams, and driving growth in deposits, loans, and overall market share.

As a Bank Center Manager, you will oversee daily branch operations, ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational standards, and foster a culture centered on exceptional customer service. You will serve as a trusted resource for customers while coaching and empowering your team to excel in the customer experience.

This role requires a hands‑on leader who can balance operational excellence with business development—guiding staff, strengthening community relationships, and delivering an outstanding banking experience that supports both individual and branch success. Essential Job Functions
  • Champion a high standard of customer service by actively listening to customers’ needs and recommending tailored solutions.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coordinate the activities of frontline staff engaged in sales and service delivery.
  • Oversee branch facilities, collaborating with market leaders, marketing, and compliance teams to maintain branding and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, and address branch operational needs as assigned.
  • Ensure strict adherence to operational controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Partner with Human Resources to assess staffing needs, conduct recruitment, and manage staff onboarding and terminations.
  • Manage and schedule staff, assign duties, and foster a collaborative, performance‑driven environment.
  • Evaluate direct reports, including Assistant Bank Center Managers, by reviewing performance metrics, records, and reports, and conducting timely performance reviews.
  • Ensure Assistant Bank Center Manager is fulfilling responsibilities (if no ABC Manager, ensure branch operational requirements are met, including RAP reports, Safe Box, alarm codes, etc.).
  • Welcome customers, build rapport, and identify individual financial needs.
  • Open new accounts, cross‑sell products and services, and refer customers to relevant departments as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with market leaders to achieve targeted growth in deposits, loans, and customer base for the assigned branch.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for both customers and prospects.
  • Consistently meet and exceed individual and branch performance goals and objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all bank products, services, and promotions.
  • Actively participate in branch marketing campaigns and sales initiatives.
  • Coordinate and facilitate ongoing staff training and professional development activities.
  • Support teller operations and provide backup assistance on the teller line as needed.
