Position Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor will assist with the oversight of day-to-day warehousing functions at a specific distribution centre or cross‑dock. The ideal candidate will lead a team of warehouse associates to meet operational goals and support the Assistant Warehouse Manager by managing inventory and assigning tasks to the team.

This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check as a condition of employment. Certain felony convictions and convictions involving violence, theft, abuse, dishonesty, or breach of trust may disqualify candidates based on the nature of the position and applicable law.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensuring timely reporting of loads/returns compliance within industry fair standards and the agreed-upon communication mechanism
  • Participating in goal setting and taking accountability for results
  • Enforcing company compliance standards
  • Supporting an environment that fosters open and positive team communication
  • Communicating shift goals of the facility; working with and motivating employees to ensure goal achievement; providing progress or constraint updates to management
  • Enforcing location safety management plans
  • Demonstrating reliability and commitment to punctuality
  • Performing other duties as assigned (may vary based on client requirements)
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Experience leading a team to goal achievement; prior supervisory experience is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work, along with strong follow‑up, analytical, problem‑solving, and sound decision‑making skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms with team members and management
  • Ability to work overtime (as needed) to meet operational and customer demands
  • Ability to maintain performance in a fast‑paced environment
  • Capability to multi‑task with excellent time‑management skills
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Two (2) years or more of experience in logistics, warehousing, or an industry-related field preferred
Systems Preferred
