Operations Manager, Production Manager
Dura-Line, an Orbia Business, is actively seeking a seasoned and strategic Production Manager to join our team at the Lubbock, TX site.
What You’ll Do- Lead and inspire the production team through effective communication and interpersonal skills, balancing quality, safety, morale, productivity, and cost.
- Handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently, prioritize, delegate, and organize effectively to ensure seamless workflow and optimal efficiency.
- Be a visible presence on the production floor through Gemba walks and department meetings, demonstrating a commitment to a 24/7 operation, including the ability to work after hours as needed.
- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, quality control, and cost-effectiveness, leveraging Microsoft Office and system tools (ODEN, SAP/ERP) to standardize operations and achieve daily goals.
- Use analytical skills to resolve production-related issues, minimize scrap production, address customer and employee concerns, and implement corrective actions.
- Minimum of 5 years in management within a manufacturing environment, with excellent mechanical skills; background in extrusion or plastics highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, set high standards, improve accountability, and actively promote a culture of positive change; coach and mentor new hires and existing team members.
- Lean manufacturing mindset and experience driving continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S practices across all shifts.

The compensation for this position will typically range from $93,500 - $173,000 annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
