Assembler
Let’s build tomorrow together. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by performing a variety of operations such as mounting, posting, and aligning parts, setting up equipment for testing, and maintaining production records to assemble comfort units to specifications.
Shifts- Shift 1: 4:00am – 2:30pm (All shifts operate Monday‑Thursday with possible overtime on Friday and Saturday)
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Work from blueprints and verbal instructions from Supervisor.
- Mount, align, position, and assemble a variety of parts and components including frames, compressors, fan assemblies, control boxes, coils, panels, motors, nuts, bolts, rivets, adhesives, etc., to completely assemble comfort units.
- Communicate effectively with team and supervisors to coordinate with other assemblers, ensuring smooth production flow and troubleshooting any shortages or outages.
- Visually inspect assembled products to ensure all parts are properly aligned, connected, and functioning correctly, paying attention to detail to identify any visible flaws or issues that could affect quality.
- Package units and parts with all necessary components, including warranties and manuals, choosing correct packaging materials to protect the product (boxes, bubble wrap, foam inserts, plastic bags, protective sleeves).
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace and perform any other department duties as assigned by Supervisor, including sweeping and straightening for a safe and productive atmosphere.
- Read and write English.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read tape measure.
- Good problem‑solving skills.
- Prior carpentry or construction experience preferred.
- Competitive salary: $16‑18 hourly determined by education, experience, skills, and market data.
