Location:
Lubbock, TX
Mission:
Our client, a producer of premium frozen fruit and ice-cream snacks, is looking for a Production Manager to add to their team. In this position you will be responsible for the manufacturing department. Duties include managing product quality, manufacturing processes, performance indicators, safety, sanitation and cost containment.
Successful candidates MUST HAVE experience in a food processing plant environment (and/or other singular qualifier under Competencies/Culture below).
Compensation/Benefits:
- Compensation: 130-150k base
- Additional 10% bonus opportunity

- Work with all departments to coordinate production, PM, and Sanitation schedules and events.
- Maintain/exceed established production standards.
- Participate in new product development and introductions.
- Maintain product formulation integrity.
- Manage and control cost as it relates to budgeted labor, raw materials, packaging and waste.
- Participate in ongoing process and machine operation training.
- Monitor and enforce established GMP, OSHA, HACCP rules and regulations.
- Maintain high quality standards.
- Responsible for CIP, Clean in Place procedures
- Responsible for batching the flavors
- Pasteurizing products
- 5+ years of production operations leadership experience in a factory/manufacturing
- Food or beverage processing experience (preferable dairy)
- Experience developing production team on multiple shifts
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures
- Must be flexible to work on 3 different shifts (Typical hours are 1 st shift)
- Experience with high-speed manufacturing
