Assembler, 1st Shift

Assembler – Manufacturing

Responsible for assembling comfort units by mounting, aligning, and assembling parts and components per specifications.

• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Work from blueprints and verbal instructions from the supervisor.
• Mount, align, position, and assemble a variety of parts and components (frames, compressors, fans assemblies, control boxes, coils, panels, motors, nuts, bolts, rivets, adhesives, etc.) to fully assemble comfort units.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Coordinate with other assemblers to ensure smooth production flow and troubleshoot shortages or outages.
• Visually inspect assembled products to ensure proper alignment, connections, and functioning.
• Package units and parts, choosing correct packaging materials (boxes, bubble wrap, foam inserts, plastic bags, protective sleeves) to protect the product.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace, including sweeping and straightening.
• Perform any other department duties as assigned by the supervisor.

All shifts operate Monday‑Thursday with possible overtime on Friday and Saturday.
Shift1: 4:00am–2:30pm.

Hourly rate: $16‑18, commensurate with experience, education, and market data.

• Read/write English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Good problem‑solving skills.
• Prior carpentry or construction experience preferred.
