What’s a typical day as a Manufactiring Manager? You’ll:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of manufacturing and production, including personnel oversight.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards.
• Oversee procurement for all manufacturing supplies, tooling, and MRO.
• Ensure all production meets established quality and on-time performance goals.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance for preventative and corrective actions and new process development.
• Track and report shop labor efficiencies, manage asset utilization, and monitor production schedules.
• Direct equipment maintenance programs and support safety meetings and guidelines.
• Provide team leadership, training, and development, attending staff meetings and contributing departmental measurements.

This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You

• Have an Associate’s degree or higher (preferred) and 5+ years’ experience in machined component manufacturing.
• Have at least 2 years’ supervisory or management experience in a medium to large machine shop.
• Are motivated, ambitious, and collaborative—with a sharp attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and use Microsoft Outlook and Excel confidently.
• Possess expertise in FANUC and MAZATROL controls, MasterCAM programming (preferred), and G-code troubleshooting.
• Are familiar with Lean manufacturing concepts
• Show excellent organizational, conceptual, and time management skills, with proven ability for multi-tasking and problem-solving.
• Are physically able to use overhead cranes and perform required lifting.
