Powder Coater / Forklift Operator

Ōnin Staffing is hiring a Powder Coater / Forklift Operator to join a local manufacturing team. This is a primarily manual labor position and is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, hardworking, comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, and willing to learn. Forklift experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general manual labor and production duties
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials and products
• Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment after training/qualification
• Powder coat materials and products
• Assist with preparing materials and products for production
• Follow safety procedures and workplace guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality
• Work efficiently as part of a team while also completing tasks independently
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing physical labor throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in heat and outdoor/industrial temperatures
• Forklift experience is required
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
