Responsibilities for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)
- Medication administration as per physician orders
- Physician-ordered treatments including:
- Nutrition via feeding tube
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioning (nasal, oral, endotracheal)
- Ventilation care
- Seizure assessment and management
Requirements for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)
- Current, active Texas LVN license
- Current BLS CPR certification (in-person required)
- Experience with G-tubes, trachs, vents, or willingness to train
