We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN - Full Time to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients.

Responsibilities:

Provide Wound-related patient care and treatment

Intake and or discharge

Collaborate with registered nurses and/or Physician to administer prescribed medications

Gather patient information

Gather necessary equipment and supplies for the Physician

Communicate as needed with all team members regarding treatments, ancillary tests, patients concerns, etc to guarantee quality of care.

Performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy related duties and other duties as delegated.

Qualifications:

Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Texas.

Two (2) or more years’ experience as LPN/LVN, to include one (1) or more years in SNF or LTACH setting

Wound care experience preferred

Must have experience with peripheral venous access(IV)

Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to exam chair and vice versa

Ability to multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment

Time-management, organization and prioritization skills

Follow-up skills

Basic Life Support

Familiarity with medical tools and equipment

Working knowledge of EMR systems

Compassionate and caring demeanor

Strong interpersonal, listening, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills

Problem solving skills and have poise
