Infusion RN - Chemotherapy
The Infusion RN - Chemotherapy provides specialized nursing care focused on oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy and infusion therapy. This role requires expertise in chemotherapy administration, venous access devices, side effect management, and interdisciplinary coordination. The position is full-time onsite at Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, TX, requiring relevant nursing licensure and certifications.
The Infusion RN has knowledge of oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, and skills with port‑a‑caths and all venous access devices. The infusion nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.

Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies.
Required Qualifications- Nursing degree/diploma

Texas Registered Nurse License - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association - Within 1 year of hire: ALS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 12 cancer-related CE’s after hire –OR– OCN certification after hire
- 1 year Nursing
- 1 year Oncology experience
- Chemotherapy administration experience

Pay Range: $35.50 – $55.12. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
