Job Title: LVN/LPN:
Psych
Location: Lubbock, Texas
Setting: Psych
Pay Range: $1400 to $1650 weekly
Schedule: Mid Shift, 2p-10p, Every other weekend, 1st five weeks (orientation) will be Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly (Local preferred)
Requirements- 1 year of experience as an LPN; 2 years preferred
- Qualified applicants must have at least 1 year of experience in Psych
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Willing to obtain Texas and/or compact licensure

- Provides psychiatric nursing care within scope of practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), including monitoring patient behavior, mood, and mental status and reporting changes to the treatment team.
- Administers medications and documents patient responses while supporting mental health treatment, therapeutic interventions, and adherence to individualized care plans.
- Maintains a safe and structured behavioral health environment by observing patients for safety risks, supporting de‑escalation efforts, and assisting with crisis intervention as needed.
