Clinic Nurse Practitioner​/Physician Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an outpatient clinic at at a small hospital near Odessa, TX
, starting mid-February
. This is a Monday–Friday clinic role offering consistent hours, supportive onsite collaboration, and the opportunity to provide meaningful care to a rural community.

• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 40-hour workweek
• 10–15 patients per day (average ~10)

• Physician onsite one day per week
• Additional APP support Monday–Friday
• Primarily older adult / geriatric patient population
• Focus on continuity of care and keeping patients local when possible

This clinic is ideal for an NP or PA who is comfortable managing a broad range of conditions
, including cases that might otherwise be referred to specialists. Access to specialty care is limited, and patients often face challenges traveling long distances.

• $80/hour (~$12,800/month with experience)
• Long-term locums assignment
• Strong interest in transitioning the right provider into a permanent role

• March/April

• Licensed NP or PA (Texas license or ability to obtain)
• Comfortable working with limited specialty access
• Values autonomy, collaboration, and rural medicine
