The Advanced Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing preventive and primary care as part of a healthcare team in an ambulatory setting.

• Provide primary care to patients
• Perform initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
• Set up and monitor medical equipment
• Order and administer diagnostic tests
• Communicate test results to patients and their families
• Record patient medical histories
• Operate and maintain medical equipment

• Education:
  
  Registered nurse and successful completion of a certified post‑graduate program for nurse practitioners
• Licensure:
  Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas, BSN or advanced degree, certification and/or license in specialty, current DEA license, and current Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience:
  
  Prefer experience but will consider new graduates
• Expertise:
  Primary health care
• Language:
  English; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Travel:
  Occasionally; valid Texas driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
• Hours:
  
  8am‑5pm M‑F with occasional weekend/evening work; on‑call required
