Provider is required to be an acute care nurse practitioner (ACNP) due to the acuity on ICUs. We will not look at PA candidates. Potential the provider could be placed on the NEURO - ICU :
Neurology/neurosurgery patients , if they have neuro experience this would be an added bonus! Day to Day responsibilities will include the following:

- Admissions
-Discharges
-Running Codes
-Procedures- intubation, central line, trialysis line , arterial lines (number of procedures can vary from none - 2 or 3 night in a 7 day week)
-Communication with internal floors and transfers During the day there should be a physician there or at least available by phone. At night physician available by phone.
