Provides Surgery‑Trauma care to patients acting as an assistant to physicians in the hospital following established standards and practices with minimal supervision. 12‑hour shifts.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program or successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant program
- Texas Registered Nurse license AND Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse recognition through Texas Board of Nursing or Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Designation or Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- 3 years Professional nursing experience in a clinic setting or 3 years Professional physician assistance experience in a clinic setting.
Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
