Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) setting provides skilled nursing care, including patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires at least two years of experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition.
- Document patient care accurately and completely.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Assist with emergency procedures and treatments.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of working.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ER setting.

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.

Special Considerations:

- Must wear solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire.
- Weekends are required (6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks).
- Block schedules are required.
- Expected patient ratio is 1:3.
