Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care across various units, potentially floating between them. This role requires weekend availability and may involve working six shifts within a six-week period. The expected patient ratio is 1:4-5. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Location:

Lubbock, Texas, United States

Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room settings.
- Conduct patient assessments.
- Administer medications.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Clinical Assessment, Medication Administration, and Treatment Planning skills
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- Experience in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room settings.

Special Considerations:

- Must wear solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire (print tops are not acceptable except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital or Women's Services).
- Floating between units is required.
- 48-hour work weeks may be approved.

Scheduling:
- Weekends are required.
- Six shifts are required within a six-week period.
- Block schedules are not required.
