RN Pre Op/PACU

South Plains Endoscopy Center is hiring a Pre Op/PACU Registered Nurse. The position is weekdays only, with no holidays or weekends, and may involve occasional early mornings or late evenings depending on surgical schedule.

The Pre Op/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, continually evaluating patient condition and ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with procedures, conscious sedation, sterile techniques, and delivering comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation. Duties involve assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge preparation.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• Proficiency in BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
• 2 years of experience in PACU or critical care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
