Registered Nurse – Full Time – Lubbock, Texas

Full‑time Registered Nurse position at Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital, located at 4302 Princeton Street, Lubbock, TX.

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients within the assigned unit. The role is responsible for patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restore optimal functioning, and help the patient adapt to an altered lifestyle. Integrates the hospital’s mission and guiding principles into daily practice.

• Successful completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• One (1) year recent experience preferred. Acute care setting preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred in LTACH and Texas hospitals.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, infection control, wound care standards.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards (TJC, CMS).
• Knowledge of clinical operations; use proper policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, computer skills, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Maintains confidentiality and quality, safety, infection control standards.
• Works closely and professionally with others.
