Provides Surgery‑Pediatrics care to patients acting as an assistant to physicians in the hospital following established standards and practices with minimal supervision. 12‑hour shifts.

• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
• Texas Registered Nurse license and current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse recognition through Texas Board of Nursing or certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner designation or current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• Three years professional nursing experience in a clinic setting or three years professional physician assistant experience in a clinic setting.
