Major/Essential Functions
- Utilize the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to accurately document and communicate patient information, supporting clinical decision‑making and enhancing patient care.
- Assist with or perform patient examinations, assessments, and procedures, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all interventions in the EMR.
- Administer or assist in the administration of medications, including proper documentation in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Support patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure safe and efficient care transitions.
- Prepare, operate, and maintain medical equipment and instruments required for exams, treatments, and procedures.
- Day Shift Employees:
Earn an extra $4.00 per hour for shifts worked on Saturday and Sunday. - Night Shift Employees:
Earn an extra $4.00 per hour for shifts worked Monday through Friday and an extra $8.00 per hour for shifts worked on Saturday and Sunday.
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan website at .
Occasional Duties- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Current RN License in the State of Texas, or ability to transfer license to Texas, or scheduled to complete a program of nursing within 120 days of applying for a position. Graduated from an approved accredited nursing program. New graduates must pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX‑RN) on the first attempt.
- No experience required.
