Overview
Provides follow up care in the clinic/hospital setting for hematology/oncology patients acting as an assistant to physicians following established standards and practices with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians to deliver follow-up care to hematology/oncology patients in clinical and hospital settings.
- Follow established standards and practices with minimal supervision.
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program
- Texas Registered Nurse license AND Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse recognition through Texas Board of Nursing
- 3 years professional nursing experience in a clinic setting
- 2 years of oncology experience preferred
- Collaborative and supportive team
- Robust clinical trial program
- Team-based care with excellent support staff
- Tumor boards
