Neuro Tele RN – Neuro

Schedule:

- Weekends:
Yes — 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Shift Ratios:
Days 1:4;
Nights 1:4;
Weekends 1:5

Assignment Details:

- Daily Census: ~27 - Unit Beds: 29

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Compact state nursing license required
- Charting experience required (any system acceptable) - Required certifications: BLS

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Provide nursing care to patients in a neuro/telemetry setting.

- Monitor and manage telemetry/remote monitoring.

- Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias.

- Participate in rapid response/code teams as necessary.

- Administer care for stroke, intracranial bleeds, and pre/post neurosurgery patients.

- Manage care for seizure disorders and spinal cord injuries.

Compliance / Notes:

- Orientation: 12 hours
- Dress Code:
Solid navy blue uniforms/scrubs (no prints; scrub tops may have piping) for licensed staff. Solid hunter green for unlicensed staff.

- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
