Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 - 19:00, including 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule.
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of L&D experience. The RN will provide care for patients during the labor and delivery process, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both the mother and newborn. This position does not require floating between units.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct assessments of patients and review their medical history.
- Manage high-risk deliveries and assist during cesarean sections.
- Provide education and support to expectant mothers and their families.
- Monitor fetal and maternal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- At least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Current RN license (Compact license preferred).
- ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and BLS certifications required.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
