Labor & Delivery RN
Schedule:
Weekends required:
Yes — 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
Assignment Details:
Orientation: 24 hours. Number of rooms: 15.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
- Patient ratio experience: 1:1.
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate. - Experience with fetal monitoring, labor management, and neonatal resuscitation.
- Charting system:
Epic preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Manage labor and delivery processes including vaginal delivery and C-section assistance.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to abnormalities.
- Handle obstetric emergencies such as hemorrhage and pre-eclampsia.
- Provide neonatal stabilization and resuscitation.
- Administer medications and therapies as needed.
- Perform IV starts and sterile vaginal exams.
Compliance / Notes:
Valid state license required. Background checks will be performed. Parking details will be provided.
