American Traveler is hiring a Pediatrics RN for a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, requiring 2 years of experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Requirements- Active TX or compact RN license required
- 2 years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Pediatrics unit within a Children's Hospital and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Patient ratios of 1:3-5
- Floating required between units and between facilities within the state
- On-call required based on unit census
- Weekend shifts required (5 shifts within a 6 week period)
- Scrub color requirement:
Navy for RNs - Free parking available in any unrestricted space, with bike racks on site
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal to no RTO accommodated for this position
