Technical Quality Control Manager
The Technical Quality Control Manager is responsible for leadership, management, and continuous improvement of the company's quality assurance and quality control programs across ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and related construction materials operations. This position serves as the company's primary technical authority for materials quality, mix design development, laboratory operations, specification compliance, and customer technical support.
Lead all quality control and quality assurance functions. Oversee mix design development, optimization, and approvals. Manage laboratory operations and accreditation requirements. Ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, TxDOT, and customer specifications. Support operations, sales, and customers with technical expertise. Investigate and resolve quality-related issues. Develop and mentor quality control personnel across all locations.
Required Credentials- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I
- ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician
- ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician Level 1
- ACI Aggregate Testing Technician Level 1
- NRMCA Concrete Technologist Level 3 or Level 4
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician Level 2
- ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector
- ACI Aggregate Testing Technician Level 2
- TxDOT Level II Concrete Technician
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Construction Management, Geology, or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of ready-mix concrete, aggregates, or construction materials experience.
- 5+ years in technical leadership or quality management roles.
