Quality Assurance Inspector

Seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector in Lubbock, TX.

The company specializes in the production and machining of castings, forgings, fabricated components, precision laser-cut parts, and finished machined products.

• $18.00 to $22.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
• Inspect parts, assemblies, and materials to customer and engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, dial indicators, and FARO Arm.
• Perform receiving, first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. Identify, report, and help resolve nonconforming products and processes.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment and gauges.
• Support QA documentation, work instructions, inspection reports, and document control activities.
• Train and assist team members on inspection methods and quality procedures.
• Perform minor rework and material disposition as needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely inspections.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objective.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform inspections for extended periods.
• Ability to operate inspection equipment, including FARO Arm and similar tools, for extended durations.
• Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods when required.
