Student Assistant - External TTMHI

Position Description

A student enrolled in an institution of higher education other than Texas Tech University or Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center employed to perform work as assigned by the supervisor.

• Work closely with other team members to support the maintenance and development of collaborative research efforts with both internal and external stakeholders
• Support research activities, including survey development, data collection, and data analysis, under the direction of TTMHI team members
• Assist with the development and management of accurate project databases, computer and manual filing systems and any project records or files
• Engage in academic writing and editing for research efforts, including but not limited to data dissemination, reporting, teaching materials, and grants
• Maintain a desk manual with written procedures to meet the expectations of this position
• Participate in regular team meetings and provide support for large‑scale projects led by other team members

Additional duties as assigned.

A student enrolled in at least six hours.

Experience in survey development, data entry, data cleaning and analysis, and supporting academic writing and editing under supervision.
