Position Description

A graduate student in an institution within the Texas Tech University System employed in support of the research mission of the unit, its director or faculty, in laboratory, library, field, or computer work, or such other activities as may assist in the unit's research efforts.

• Develop microfluidic sensors for leukocyte activation in urine.
• Perform isolation/separation of cells from samples for phenotyping.
• Collect generation of data for publications, co-authoring manuscripts for peer review.
• Conduct cytometry, genomics, and other biochemical assays of antigen expression in activated leukocytes.
• Manage authoring/editing of manuscripts, proposals, and other research documentation.

Enrolled in the graduate program of an institution within the Texas Tech University System.

• Masters degree level coursework in mathematics and statistics.
• Experience in research, quality improvement, data analysis, and grant writing.
• Experience working in an academic environment.
• MS or BS in health-aligned or related fields such as Chemistry, Biology, or Nursing.
