With moderate supervision, the Retail Keyholder assists the store management team in executing and supervising all store activities. They provide outstanding guest service, support store operations, and ensure products are accessible and well-organized. This role involves sharing product knowledge, maintaining a clean environment, and fostering guest loyalty.

Essential

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Provide exceptional guest service, including greeting guests, responding to questions, and promoting promotions and programs.

Support the shopping environment, visual merchandising, and guest relationships.

Process purchases and returns accurately using the POS system.

Address guest comments and questions in person or on the phone.

Promote Game Stop’s guest benefits and loyalty programs.

Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including fixtures and equipment.

Complete Omni-Channel orders daily.

Safeguard assets through inventory control and loss prevention practices.

Conduct inventory counts, restock merchandise, and organize products.

Support management in achieving sales and profit goals, and complete administrative duties.

Reconcile daily transactions and ensure proper cash handling.

Check shipments, record discrepancies, and report issues.

Process defective/recall stock and ensure proper labeling.

Supervise and delegate tasks in the absence of management.

Adhere to company policies and procedures, including opening and closing protocols.

Observe and provide feedback on associate performance.

Qualifications

Proof of identity and legal work eligibility in the US.
At least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Retail sales, guest service, or management experience preferred.
Video game knowledge is a plus.
Ability to work alone, stand, and move for up to 10 hours a day.

Skills and Abilities
