OverviewRole involves communicating membership options and benefits to current and prospective members, assisting with account decisions, building membership and renewal activity, promoting credit card programs, and ensuring a safe shopping environment. It also includes maintaining the gas station and car wash area, receiving and stocking merchandise, operating POS systems, and ensuring proper signage and pricing. Emphasis is on customer service, safety, and adhering to company policies.
Responsibilities- Communicate and explain membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective members to assist with account decisions, build membership levels, encourage renewals, communicate credit card program types and application processes, and promote the value of Sam's Club products and services.
- Provide customer/member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
- Maintain the area of responsibility by cleaning and organizing the car wash and gas station area and ensuring accurate pricing and signage.
- Maintain the Gas Station/Car Wash area in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise and supplies, identifying shrink and damages, and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; organize and maintain the facility by following procedures, utilizing equipment, merchandising, and completing required paperwork and logs.
- Operate equipment such as cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold.
- Operate and maintain Gas Station/Car Wash area equipment and provide products and services to customers per company policies and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits- Hourly wage: $16.00 to $24.00 per hour. The actual rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.
