Position OverviewThe Sales Support Associate plays a vital role in the store’s success, providing friendly, efficient customer interactions at the cash wrap and maintaining an excellent sales floor. Accurate product flow from receipt to point of sale is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome clients warmly and professionally; anticipate needs and provide personalized assistance.
- Represent the brand internally and in the local market; support social media engagement.
- Operate POS accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash/media in compliance with policy.
- Suggest add‑on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted.
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and keep the stockroom clean.
- Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates.
- Support sales floor activities; respond confidently to customer requests and partner with team or management as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines.
- 1+ year of retail experience (cashier, stock, sales, etc.), preferably in luxury retail; education may substitute experience.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape.
- Familiarity with cash register systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet), walkie‑talkie usage, and reading price/product sheets.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong English proficiency (UK/EU).
Flexible schedule required to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, and public holidays.
Physical DemandsAbility to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom.
Compensation & BenefitsBase Pay Range $15.00–$19.50 per hour. Tapestry complies with minimum wage requirements and other applicable pay laws. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), paid paternity and maternity leave, commuter benefits, disability insurance, and tuition assistance.
