Position: Business Development Manager, Service Now (HOUSTON, TX)

The Role

As a Business Development Manager
, you will create and foster strong business relationships in the Territory Area. Primary focus will be to build a sales pipeline for our Service Now solutions, licenses and implementation-related services. You will work closely with Service Now and Presidio sellers to drive Service Now solutions to commercial and enterprise accounts. You will assume some existing accounts but will also be responsible for expanding our portfolio within the defined territory to develop new relationships and close new business.

Travel Requirements: Remote but expected to travel up to 50% within the territory area visiting customers and Presidio and Service Now sellers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead generation strategies and execution for the Sales Area territory
  • Work closely with channel and vendor partners
  • Collaborate with delivery teams throughout the sales cycle
  • Exhibit customer and account control leveraging our sales playbook and MAP
  • Present and negotiate proposals (including RFPs/RFIs) leading to Statements of Work
  • Provide ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and uncover additional opportunities
  • Provide regular status and projections against sales activities
Required Skills
  • Experience managing an ongoing sales pipeline / book of business of approximately $1-5m+
  • Demonstrated ability to present and influence buyers (including C-level executives)
  • Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to forecast current and future business
  • Align capabilities to business drivers within your customer/prospect's organizations
  • Service Management solutions
  • Prior Value Selling or similar framework training
  • Managed Services sales
Additional Desired Skills
  • 2+ years working in Service Now Services or Solutions is a plus
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience in IT solutions and/or services
