Job Summary:

Are you passionate about building something from the ground up? We’re looking for a high‑energy, entrepreneurial New Business Development Manager – R+Color to drive salon acquisition and fuel the growth of our Professional R+Color portfolio. This role is laser‑focused on identifying, engaging, and converting new salon partners, bringing our innovation and education‑first approach to professionals across the country.

Compensation: Base Salary + commission commensurate with proven sales history. This role is heavily incentivized on commission payouts based on new salon acquisitions. Total earning potential $150K+ based on performance and goal attainment.

This role is classified as exempt from the Fair Labor Standard Act’s overtime requirement, is remote, and open to candidates based in the Dallas/Houston, TX area. The work environment is primarily remote, requiring reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace free from significant distractions for “office” days.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the charge on new business development for our Professional Hair Color brand R+Color, with a focus on driving market share through strategic salon acquisition.
  • Prospect and cultivate new salon relationships across assigned territories or target markets, identifying ideal accounts for brand alignment.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and product demos, highlighting our brand story, color technology, and support tools to convert prospects into loyal customers.
  • Partner with Education and Field Sales teams to seamlessly onboard new accounts, ensuring a white‑glove experience from first touch through first purchase.
  • Track performance and pipeline activity, maintaining accurate reporting and forecasting on salon wins, revenue contribution, and growth opportunity.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Education to develop tailored outreach strategies, promotions, and salon‑centric selling tools.
  • Act as the voice of the new customer, surfacing trends, objections, and opportunities to inform product development and sales strategy.

Who You Are:

  • A results‑driven licensed colorist and sales professional with 3+ years in professional beauty, with experience in color or salon business development.
  • A strong book of color business preferred.
  • A natural connector who thrives in outreach, cold‑calling, and closing—you love the thrill of the hunt.
  • Strategic, organized, and analytical—you know how to build a smart pipeline and chase the right opportunities.
  • Confident in presenting and educating; you own the room and can influence decision‑makers.
  • Passionate about professional hair color and excited to bring innovative products and education to the salon community.

  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant sales and retail experience.
  • Candidates with outside sales and salon industry experience required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Computer

    Skills:

    MAC Proficiency, Word, Excel, Outlook, and general comfort with new programs.
  • Net Suite and/or  knowledge preferred.
  • Attend all company‑provided meetings and training.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for travel within the assigned territory.
  • Overnight travel up to 75%.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
